There are two churches in Kensworth.
St Mary’s was built in what was originally the centre of
the village
before houses were built near the “new” road on Kensworth
Common.
Now it is in a beautiful and tranquil setting, surrounded by ancient
trees and approached only by narrow roads.

The Wesleyan Methodists Chapel by contrast was built in
Kensworth Common in 1830 and is in the middle of Kensworth village
on Common Road. Find out more.
